Wow, back blogging after a flurry of forgotten user IDs, forgotten passwords. Now I am set up on EBay and back also on PayPal. I used PayPal once to purchase a pony banjo. I don't recall ever registering for EBay, but sure enough, when I went to register I was told I was already registered!! I flat out do not recall that user ID at all, so I changed it.

I like the idea of verifying e-mail addresses. I advocated this approach as a customization to our Docent LMS, but that's being left for later. Actually, it helped our testing to allow bogus e-mails addresses
